Aristocrat is the vision of one man, Bob Back, whose eclectic background included a degree in chemistry from London University College and a career in fashion design. Bak is a pioneer in the world of denim dyeing having spent many years developing techniques and washes now used by almost ever denim company in the world. Before launching, Back worked in Italy as an independant developer for premium brands like Chanel, Diesel, Cavalli, and Kenzo. For these designers and more, Bak was responsible for the all important leap from concept to creation. He was hired to create the style, wash, and look of the denim designers and amassing a uniquely broad and in-depth knowledge of denim design and fabrication. He was the motivates toe implement that knowledge by starting his own denim line.
