Citizens of Humanity
Citizens of Humanity is a designer denim manufacturer based in California, that was founded by the makers of 7 For All Mankind. Upon leaving 7 For All Mankind in 2002, Jerome Dahan and Michael Glasser launched the Citizens of Humanity brand in 2003.
Citizens of Humanity sells women's and men's jeans, and a knit apparel line of sweaters, shirts and jackets. Their jeans are marked with a version of the signature twisted "H" on their back pockets. Each season also debuts new and innovative designer washes. Citizens of Humanity jeans are manufactured in the USA. Their superior denim is imported from Italy.
Citizens of Humanity's jeans are noted for their universal fit and consistent sizing. Most jeans are a stretch blend with 2% lycra but some are rigid (100% cotton). There is also a 2% polyurethane blend to maintain shape without sagging.
