Minden Chan’s collection is driven by an aesthetic of metro modernity with a dash of undone femininity, the collection constantly strives for creative clarity, purity, and individuality in search of an alternative to today's much homogenized way of dressing.

Minden Chan is a collection of intimately crafted clothing pieces born out of the namesake designer's intense interest in forms and textures.  With a family background that figured prominently in the art history of the early 1900s' Orient, the Shanghai-born, MIT-educated designer took an early interest in the craftsmanship of tailoring and started designing as a creative outlet to balance a routine, albeit successful, career outside fashion.  The experience accumulated through years of informal and exploratory personal design endeavors coalesced in 2006 with the formal launch of the present collection.
