Returns & Exchanges

Krista K will gladly accept returns and exchanges on merchandise that has not been WORN, ALTERED or WASHED, with ALL tags attached, with exception to the following:

  • Sale Merchandise
  • Undergarments (such as Bella Bands and tights.)
  • Swimwear

Upon receipt of goods, Krista K reserves the right to deny credit if the merchandise does not meet return policy requirements. Refunds will be made in the form of original payment. Please note: Krista K does not refund shipping and handling. If you decide to refuse any shipments from Krista K, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you and the cost of returning the package to Krista K.

Shoes

All shoes should be tried on a carpeted surface before wear. Footwear must be returned in the original condition and original box--Krista K DOES NOT accept returns or exchanges on WORN FOOTWEAR. Damages to or omission of the original box from your return will be sent back to the customer and cannot be processed, as the shoe box is considered part of the product.

Sale Merchandise

ALL sale merchandise is FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged.

In Store Returns
You may return merchandise purchased online for a full refund within 14 days from the date of delivery. Please return all merchandise to its respective store and bring the original invoice you received with your shipment to:

Online Returns

To process a return of website merchandise by mail, you must:

1. Request a Return Authorization Code (RAC) by contacting us within 7 days from the date of delivery.
  • In the subject of the message please write: RETURN and YOUR ORDER NUMBER (e.g. RETURN # 1234567)
  • In the body of your message please include your name and which item(s) you would like to return as well as any reason you want to provide.
2. We will email you an RAC within 72 hours.
  • Once you receive the RAC, write it clearly and legibly on the original invoice and on the OUTSIDE of the package you are returning. This step is required for all returns to ensure that you are properly credited.
3. Securely pack and seal the merchandise and invoice (with RAC) in an appropriate shipping box or envelope. Items must be returned within 14 days of the RAC issue. Please note that returns made outside of these timeframes are accepted at the discretion of Krista K and may only be issued to you as a store credit.
4. Please use an insured service to ship your return (UPS, USPS, FedEx). This will provide you with recourse on your package, as we cannot accept responsibility for packages that we do not ship ourselves. Mail all packages to:

5. Refunds by mail are processed within seven (7) days of our receipt of your merchandise. Your refund will be credited back to the same card used to make the original purchase unless you request a Store Credit. You will be notified by email once your return has been received and processed.
Exchanges
To exchange an item, you must RETURN the item to Krista K and then place a new order. Please follow the Return Process detailed above. To place a new order please visit our website or call 773.248.4477 for customer service/assistance.

    Shipping & Handling

    Orders

    All orders received after 5pm CST will be processed the next business day. Please allow up to 24 hours to process and ship your order. When your order ships, you will receive an email update with the tracking number of your package for your convenience.

    After you receive your order, please take a moment to inspect it carefully for damage. Please contact us immediately if the item you received is damaged, incorrect or does not come with original Krista K tags attached.

     

    Sales Tax

    Applicable sales tax of 10.25% is charged only to deliveries shipped within Illinois.  

    We ask for your contact information so that we may contact you regarding your personal CVV2 security code on the back of your card and to speak with you directly to ensure proper fit and answer any questions you may have.  

    Our Privacy Statement

    We neither sell nor share your information with outside companies or third parties.

    When you purchase from our online store, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. You provide this information so we can process and ship your order. We respect your privacy by not selling or sharing this information.

    We encourage you to sign-up for our e-mailing list. These letters provide you with advanced notice of store sales, new merchandise, and other store-related events. But, of course, you have the freedom to add or remove your name from our list at any time.

    Online Security

    Your credit card is completely safe.

    Protecting your information is our highest priority. We have developed several safeguards to keep your information completely confidential. To proceed to checkout, you must enter your e-mail address and create a password. The checkout process itself employs Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)* technology to insure your safety.

    *Secure Sockets Layer encrypts your order information and sends it to a secure server, making it impossible for that information to be decoded by a party outside of the store you shop with.

    Furthermore, only our store will have your information; other members of the Modern Retail community will not have access to your information unless you decide to shop with them.

    To check the security of your connection during checkout, look for the unbroken key or closed lock at the bottom of your browser window. This indicates SSL is active.

    Shopping Online

    To add an item to your bag, simply click the add to bag button next to it. (Items you put in your bag will not be bought by you until you have completed the checkout process.)

    To remove an item from your bag, simply click the remove link next to the item you wish to discard.

    To view what is in your bag at any time, click the "shoppingBag" link in the page header.

    To purchase what you've selected, click on your shoppingBag and click "checkout". Follow the three simple steps to purchase your items.

    Once we have confirmed your order, an account for you is automatically established for the Modern Retail community of stores.

    To access your account in the future, click the "myAccount" button in the header of any page and enter the e-mail address and password you created at checkout.  (If you have not been through checkout, but would like to create an account, simply click on my account and follow the steps to create a new account.)
